Microneedling Treatment

Make Your Skin Youthful Again

Burlington Med Spa

We perform medical grade microneedling, also called dermaplaning, at our medical clinic. The therapy is for skin rejuvenation. It is a minimally invasive therapy. Microneedling literally reverses skin aging in patients. The procedure causes the body to accelerate the production of skin collagen.

Microneedling Treatment, also called Microdermabrasion Treatment, Being Performed On A Patient

Microneedling Process

How do we do it? We use a medical device with multiple tiny sterile needles. These mutiple needles create tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin.

As soon your skin is penetrated by the needles, the body begins the healing process. This triggers the body to create new collagen. The body creates elastin as well. Both collagen and elastin help repair punctured skin tissue. These are two important and critical skin building components.

We add a special medical-grade skin nutrient additive as well. The nutrient speeds rejuvenation. Results will not be visible right away. More dramatic results will be visible after several treatments. We recommend three sessions spaced 4 weeks apart.

We also recommend that you combine plasma facials with microneedling if your budget allows it. The combination causes even faster skin regeneration. We also recommend microneedling to enhance your results with other cosmetic treatments. From a cost perspective microneedling at our Burlington clinic is less expensive than laser procedures, which can cost about four times as much. There will be much more down-time with laser procedures too.

Get Ready For Microneedling

Microneedling treatment, sometimes referred to as dermaplaning or microdermabrasion, is a cosmetic therapy that is used to treat a number of skin issues. It’s been practiced for more than 20 years in some way, shape, or form. With the evolution of the medical equipment and the advancement in medical techniques, microneedling has become more prevalent today.

Within many med spa practices, you may have heard microneedling referred to as collagen induction therapy, skin needling, or percutaneous collagen induction. Simply put, it is the insertion of very fine, short, sterilized needles into the skin for rejuvenation.

Your body will naturally rush to heal these contolled injuries to your skin, resulting in a plumped, more youthful appearance. If you start your microneedling research with an Instagram or Google image search, you’ll probably be scared off.

The photos are alarming — that’s because the therapy involves puncturing the skin with tiny needles that draw blood. Sticking a bunch of needles into your face may not sound like a good idea, but the process sets off a rejuvenation reaction that leaves many people raving about the results. The therapy can help patients correct everything from fine lines and wrinkles to acne scars and stretch marks.

Microneedling Shrinks Enlarged Skin Pores

The therapy is also a great way to shrink pore size. Larger skin pores add years to your face and overall look. Smaller skin pores subtract years from your appearance. The result is a more youthful look.

Microneedling Treats Acne Scars

Acne scars and stretch marks can be minimized too. Book a procedure which includes a FREE CONSULTATION. We will evaluate areas of concern and discuss options. If you decide not to proceed, there are no fees due.
